Stomaltern! Are you wondering how we came up with this name?
Simply put, this name comes from the combination of two words, “Stomie” and “alternatives”. The founder of the project Stomaltern, who has been living with an Ostomy for a few years now, wishes to offer “alternatives” to anyone who lives with this medical condition in order to live a new integrated lifestyle where they feel supported and in charge. This is how Stomaltern was created.
Stomaltern will begin in Canada, but has the goal to be known internationally in order to reach a maximum of individuals living with this medical condition.

Stomaltern’s platform is FREE to all subscribers as soon as they subscribe. The subscription process is simple. All you have to do is fill-out a profile where you will create a username and password. This allows each subscriber to connect to a community, to exchange with others, and access invaluable information on Ostomy. Only a few services require a payment such as the teleconsultation and the networking/meeting site.
Prices include taxes.

Stomaltern invests in the research and development of products and services that are entirely new or improved in order to support the needs of people living with Ostomy.
Our company has stood out to Investissement Québec who has supported us in developing the innovative waterproof pouch that is currently being developed by Vestechpro Apparel, Research, and Innovation Center.
This INNOVATION aims to improve sealing by using the most recent technologies available while adopting a new sealing procedure. It is currently PATENT pending.
